Reel Deal Games

My name is Drew Farwell, and I am the founder of Reel Deal Games. As you may have already guessed, I LOVE fishing. In fact, head out on the Fox River in Green Bay, WI anytime between March and December, and you're likely to see me fishing on my boat, Fishical Therapy.  

I've always believed in conservation. Growing up, my dad taught me the importance of "leaving it better than we found it" anytime we ventured outdoors. Good stewardship of the land by previous generations is why we could enjoy such splendor in the present. But as an adult, I want to make sure my nephews have the same opportunities to catch trophy fish that I have been fortunate enough to enjoy throughout my lifetime. It wasn't until I had two heart attacks in April of 2024 that I really started thinking about legacy and what else I could leave the angling community that had given me so much. 

Growing up, I loved playing board games with my family (almost as much as camping and fishing). I always hoped I could find a fishing game that simulated the fun and excitement of real bass fishing. While no board game will ever match the experience of being on the water, I've spent countless hours perfecting the gameplay of Reel Deal Fishing to bring you the next best thing. 

Using a combination of 64 cards and 2 dice, I've created a bass tournament fishing simulation for 2-4 players ages 12 and up. It rewards preparation, presents many of the seen (and unseen) challenges of bass fishing, requires you to problem solve to maximize your time on the water, and relies on a little bit of good old fashioned luck to put the big fish in your bag. In so doing, I hope I've created a game that anglers love (and just might make nonanglers curious to experience the "reel deal").
